This is going to be good! I love how you have built your bronco so far. Have you figured out how you are adapting the 1356 to the 4l80E? Probably 6 or 7 years ago I saw a purple ex cab Silverado built by Flying Dutchman (I believe that was the company) at one of the Whiplash races in Wickenburg. It was a very well built 4x4 Pre Runner, with a D44 TTB front end. It was using the chevy driver side drop transfer case. I never got any pictures of it and have not seen or heard of it since.

The 1356 t case has the same bolt pattern as a 205 t case. So using a adapter to bolt them together there and then a custom made output shaft. Which is basically th400 trans side and c6(e40d) on t case side

I was under the impression that the Chev 205 is RH drop and the Ford 205 is LH drop and they are mirror image and cant be rotated for opposite drop service? :? Educate me.

I was referring to late model Chevy LH drop stuff which the 4L80 would have been attached to.

So philo I'm not following anymore. Your saying the clocking is different, way different cause a 205 late model ford, to a late model chevy is way off from a 1356? I'm confusing myself...

C6 adapter on left, Turbo 350 on right.

Clocking. 205 didn't come in anything modern. Doesn't matter anyway because he wants to put a 1356 on the 4L80. If you try to put the wrong t-case on it ends up at a weird angle. GM was passenger drop up to 1988, after that they went driver like Ford has always been.

Notice that the Ford uses a dowel pin to locate the T-case one way. GM uses a slightly offset bolt at the bottom. If you look closely the very bottom to the bolt is slightly right in the picture. Same bolt circle on both patterns.

you need this bad boy:

The ST6-i Trophy Truck version features six close ratio forward gears and a heavy duty drop gear set to reduce the overall final drive ratio, enabling the use of taller (and stronger) ring and pinion ratios. The ST6-i features two possible heights for power input, clutch and converter options, plus a wide selection of drop gears that allow the ST6-i to be easily tailored to your specific application.
