Built a bumper for her Saturday. Turned out stellar.
Started by firing up the fab lab's torch mate

Threw away the old cross over and made a new one. made the old one too tall... oops. This one is much lower and bolts slide right in this time.

Really out did myself this time.
Instead of working on getting the hood back on, I decided to tame the beast and keep her locked down where she belongs.

Is that a limiter strap for the motor movement? What engine mounts are you running? I was considering doing engine plates on mine. I have AutoFab motor mounts but I have not run the Bronco with them yet.

Yep limit strap for the engine. Its crazy how much almost every engine torques over, and how often motor mounts split because of it. Trick is to put the limit strap on it TIGHT. You need to "preload" it a bit. Limit straps stretch. With my foot on the brake and stabbing the gas, the engine BARELY moves.

As for the Ass Vault straps... It's been discussed at the shop...
It's clear, that somewhere there is a vault composed of purely ass.

Your engine has more work than most trucks. Limit straps and a roll cage. Lulz

Driver mirror was cracked pretty good so i put a new mirror on. Its super shiny. Much like.
No picture of the mirror though, only the extraction process of the broken mirror bolt.

Scooped some SwayAWay 2.5 14's so i can finally have dampening on the rear of the bronco for the first time! That, and another 1 1/2" of up travel thanks to SAW's shorter body. 14" shock and should be at about 16" travel. Plenty for wagon suspension!
Now i need to build drop hangers, shackles, and bump/strap.

Flutter stack and rate plate on Compression with a modified 10 stack on rebound. We'll see how she does.

Put a 1/4" Alum skid on the bumper. I have another skid to go on the underside of the cross tube thats just 6 or so inches tall. Have yet to put that one on.

Looks cleaner without the lights. .

But i must have light!

$8,500 and she can be yours. Brother has priority at a discounted price if he chooses to take the reigns of the big B. I'm bummed, this thing is epicly fun in every way shape and form. Im stoked to drive it to and from work everyday still. However... Fummins, race truck, and bronco is just too much. I'm trying to settle down with my stable of trucks. Finishing the race truck and reviving the Fummins is most important to me. Gauging interest at the moment, as I am in the process of transferring it from out of state reg. I will continue to complete it until it's gone. Price may reflect this. I'll post details of everything it has, All that's been done, and what it needs, when it's ready to go.

Ditched the old core support braces and made a beefier version. They're not quite done.

Things escalated Saturday.
Got slammed at work and doing PIT support at races next couple weekends right after i dropped the whole front end to re-do nearly everything. Sooo she may be a hover craft for a couple weeks.
Borrowing buddy's TT in the mean time.

Reasons for tearing the front end down...
Passenger TTB shaft hitting TTB through passage way. So bad, that the passenger side couldn't bump while the driver side was drooped, and therefore blew both Warn hub internals out from gnarly shaft forces and made for some craptastic suspension cycling. I will be opening up this passage and reinforcing the area.
TTB pivot bushings... enough said. Called Nexgen.. Uniballs on their way.
Seized radius arm to TTB bolt threads. Needed to be chased.
Diff axle seals leaking like hell, needed to be replaced.
Gears were not matched. Called West Coast Diff, and have 4.56 Ring/Pinion, setup kit and seals inbound so she will be gear matched finally.
Half ass'd coilover tabs needed to be cleaned up.
Backside of passenger side TTB was never boxed. With only a couple hundred dirt miles, this beam was already cracking where they commonly do when not boxed in.
Bottom of diff will also be plated. Various welds will be gouged and rewelded.
Added a few more plates to further strengthen engine cage/a pillar tie ins.
Plating the TTB frame pivots with 3/16" For more bolt contact.
All new bearings/seals
Also adding more core support braces, and mounted the charcoal canister and smog pump crap
A lot of time and money being dumped into the front end rebuild but it will all be very solid, cleaner, and functional 4x4.

Fresh set of Outlaw II's arrived. Mounting the 35" BFG AT's next week. Back down to 35's to make the bronco a little more affordable to drive.
