Re: my 1984 FSB
nice rob,its about time you posted it up here. it needs some dirt in the fender wells......
Re: my 1984 FSB
Ya I need some newer photos. These are right after assembly from paint shop.Still needed alignment done.Had the stink bug stance.Have fixxed that since this photo.I have,nt even been Off-road with it yet.Need them Deavers and my front bumps still. If the Oregon race in Paisely happens it will for sure be there to Pre-run if there is one.
61mm BBK TB and ported intake!
Ported/Port matched a factory 5.8 intake. Alot to be had as far as flow near the transition from intake to heads. There was a 1/8" all the way around the port that can be removed.Picked up a new BBK 61mm x2 T. body to go with the better flow and some reconed 24lb. injectors. As well as a Adjustable F. regulator.

Radius arms are built by a friend of mine.Kevin who built the two badass broncos that i posted pics of.They are setup with threaded ends for future heims. And have a .180 wall main tubes with .120 wall upper tubes (dom). The bumper has welded on tabs for backup lights. And a receiver tube.Kevin built the bumpers as well with my help.I was shop Bit#$ grind, fit, cut.

Re: my 1984 FSB
Hi Rob, hope you've been well. Two quick questions if you can please - are your tires 35's or 37's? Also, how did you prep and paint your top, and how has it been holding up?
Thanks-
Sy
Thanks-
Sy
Re: my 1984 FSB
Sorry Sy have,nt been on here in awhile.Been tinkering with my new to me 06 CRF450.To answer your questions.1. 35" BFG MT,s 2.I D-ayed the texture off of the top with 400 grit, and then finished it out with 400 wet sand.Probably the hard way to do it.But as you can see she looks purty shiny. As far as holding up.Prices in Molalla,Ore. did a awesome job on the paint. The chassis has,nt been tested yet.Ive been pretty broke and havent been able to get my rear deavers or build the 408w that I want before it goes out and plays. Some day it will get out and catch some air.

Re: my 1984 FSB
Thank you very much Rob, your top does look awesome - I'm doing this same thing. And if it makes you feel better, I am in the broke camp as well - in fact I 'm so broke I think I may be the head counselor. Here's to better times financially..
