Re: Slappy Style Go Fast with Dana 44/50 hybrid beams....
bronco now
I am going to see how I like the kenwood head mount I found in my center console.I am also going to run two of these Kenwood 110w vs 110w and 40w. I have only found this option for dual Radio single intercom. My guess is someone like PCI could build me something, but I figured I would give this a go first see if I like it.

To run dual radio's with one intercom, you just need to get y connectors for the mic and the audio. Then run two push to talk switches directly from the radios. That switch from rugged should do the same function. I have done that setup for several customers on the 790 and 730 radio's. I always wondered why guys do two radio on the same vhf band? Most radios have the ability to monitor as many channels at once as you want in the scan function. I usually set my radio to scan our race, chase and weatherman channels Then i have our race and chase channels having priority over Weatherman.

I do have a Dual head 790H I have not made a call on use yet....
my current set up monitors 3 channels. I like it.
We have gotten to the point were we have our own stuff going on one radio . I also help another team and would like the same option, is the 790H capable of having this set up or function for multiple buttons? Did I ask that correctly?

The Tk790 can monitor 2 or up to all channels at once. You just turn to the channel, push the ADD/Delete button. Then hit scan and it will monitor the ones you added. During programming, you can set priority channels and even, auto return to a specific channel.
I think that is what you were aslking.

Easy too spray? You happy with doing ti & the results thus far? That is one of the 2 liners (the other is Al's) that am looking at for my projects.

Steve I like it. I talked to the company Tech about application areas to make sure I was good to go.
Prep is key to make sure it lasts. I hope to have dirt on it soon....hah

Thank you Juanco for going through the herbst/Baldwin C6. Just making sure she did not need any love from sitting for a little while.
