starting off with the 63 inch wide 9 inch. I'm going to be running 539 gears. So that should give you an idea of what tire size I'm going to be running.

Re: Josh aka greaslifes 86
As usual my plans went out the window. Lack of funding amazing how stuff always happens. So now I'm looking for a set of d44 housings and 2 sets of axles.
The new plan and the one I already have parts for.
37" tires
4" over front and rear
Coil overs up front
Drop the truck down as low as I can go and finish the cage.
Then run the dog shit out of it.

Looking good man, a lot of progress. By chance did you check you caster at bump n droop? It's a good idea to have some caster left at droop.

I have on the top of the beams anyways 15degrees neg at ride night I haven't checked during full drupe or bump never thought of it thanks I'll look into it. What's a good number at both ends.

Re: Josh aka greaslifes 86
As long as there's a few degrees left at the point of full droop you relieve stress off the steering box. On my old 2wd truck it was 10 or so at ride height, +2 at droop and + 25 or so at full tuck. The big thing is having some caster through out the whole cycle, it eases the load on the steering components. Basically you want the tires falling left/right vs plowing or scrubbing left/right. At the same time excessive caster at your normal street driving points within the cycle makes the truck feel squirrelly. It's a trade off.
