Rugged Terrain or Long Trail? I don't see a Rugged Trail on tirerack.com. Did you get 5 for that price? Tirerack has the Long trails for $496 and Rugged Terrain for $512 (for 4) and shipping is only $67. Discount tire will price match tirerack but be careful which one you go to. Some will give you a story about shipping etc and try to charge you shipping AND tax and you won't pay tax to tirerack.greaslife wrote:ok i talked with my suppler last night and he agreed that if you want BFG,Falcon,Kumho or Generals he would give you the price i pay for them. for ex i just got BFG rugged trails 235,75,16 for 619 . the only thing is he cant mount them and you or i would have too pick them up. so if you want prices pm me and i will get back too you with the cost per tire

I have the MTZ's and like them. Good traction and they have held up well to the jagged lava rocks here. Friends have gotten a fair amount of miles out of them as well. I ran BFG muds before and I like the Mickey Thompsons better.93Broncobuff wrote:What do you all think about the Mickey Thompson - Baja MTZ Radials?
Im approching the time where i need to figure out what my next tire will be so when i see a killer deal i wont pass it up.
I currentlly run BFG ATs n have had great all around performance but i hear good things about the mickeys and im starting to get more ambitious in my off roading, doing a metric $h&! ton of desert running with more and more rock crawling and mudding. So basically i need something that will bight in to rocks n good tread for the mudd but tuff-e-nuff to handle the bruital desert......
What are your guys's ideas?
They are not great in the rain! I have talked to a guy that ran the second design (16" size) on his work super duty and claimed he got 60K miles out of them. I can't imagine getting that out of the desert (15") tread style.Pre Run It wrote:Ok, so I have BFG Projects and was wondering has anybuddy ran a set of these on there DD and if so what time of mileage have they got out of them. Im thinking about pulling them and my current wheels and setting them aside for desert trips and running something a little more suitable for the street. They are actually pretty quite and drive fine once heated up but everytime I hope in the bronco they have flat spots.
*OK Tire* in Winchester. You might even see a nice Bronco there!!!FUFIMI wrote:whats the best place to buy tires from

Chris
I killed one 45 minutes after having it mounted. Not good for the desert.... but great for going to Starbucks in Laguna Beach!
Yes, i do run them.Andy Jones wrote:Baja TA, non Project tread.. How are they on the road? I think Andy "silverslk" runs them..
