Ummmm, what's this?
What's going on here Steve? Is there something happening in the world of the Bronco? Something real? Have we caught the attention of the world and they want to thank us with a new ride?

Saw this the other day & thought it was a joke based on that other thread we had. It wasn't April 1st though so I just left it alone & didn't say anything.

Re: Ummmm, what's this?
I am curious to see the suspension set up. The one thing that was a little strang was the lack of bumpers. If I wanted to make a custom offroad bumper how would it integrate into the front or rear with the body hanging so low?

Nothing to believe, right? The 2006 concept Bronco resurfaces and they call it a 2015? Yeah, I'm with you. Too much happens in 8 years to see the same body lines. It has no appeal to me.Travisfab wrote:I still don't believe it

Re: Ummmm, what's this?
I personally think a 4 door jeep looks way better than that pile. I'm still stuck on an f150 based look and part interchangeability like the old days. That thing looks like a bad rendering that never should have been made. The raptor photoshop is much better. I also am of the opinion it should be affordable not 60-70k like the raptors. I don't think especially if its going to be a non soccer mom mobile it needs all the bs like sinc and auto moon roof and crap like that. Just my opinion though, go figure the toaster box cars sold though.

Re: Ummmm, what's this?
The article says it will be on an f150 chassis with the same suspension. Not sure the accuracy of that but maybe this concept is not the real bronco and just the old concept.

Saw the new forum, looked in here & saw no posts. Thought Steve was joking so just left it.
Once Brian posted I replied to that.

Re: Ummmm, what's this?
Hmmmm. There's an idea. Ford should give us a new Bronco for review. We'll make a really bitchin' Youtube video and tell the world how cool it is and where they can go talk about it (GFB, of course)!yikes wrote:What's going on here Steve? Yeah, at first it was a joke. Then I thought, "If the build it, they will come." I'm not holding my breath, but you never know!

Re: Ummmm, what's this?
I've seen that article posted a few times recently, pretty sure that concept is from 2003/2004.
Bummer because it looks great. Iirc, it had four wheel independent suspension, and a 4cyl engine.

Brand new fully loaded Raptor is 54K. They hold value well as a 2010 extra cab goes for $38K still.

Re: Ummmm, what's this?
You guys realize that the 1996 Bronco was 19.5K to 29K (44K after current inflation) MSRP, which was a lot of money back in 1996. In comparison my fully loaded gas powered crew cab was 22K.
Broncos are only affordable because they are old... wait until 20 years from now when Raptors are budget friendly...
