Ok - got a bunch of wiring out of a '96 you can have - may or may not help. PM replied though with my # and the shop address.

Steve's right, this could be a disaster... too much current running through that light switch which could cause a fire. When I wired the Bronco, I got all my supplies from Joey at Prowire http://www.prowireusa.com/. He carries it all, one stop shopping. He carries all the milspec stuff and ALL of the builders down here use him, Jimco, Alumicraft, Mirage, etc. He has switches, circuit breakers, canon plugs, wire, connectors, shrink wrap, etc...

Stock wiring harness' work well as stock, but once we all start adding on additional electrical loads the stock wiring harness' can't hold up to the current demands... we often overload the alternator and wiring resulting in a nice bonfire. Bad Juju...

Not sure if you took care of your wiring gremlins yet, if not my buddy Pat Smith @ Smith Race Wire does phenomenal work. He's based out of Upland, CA

Listen learned TMack, don't rip out your dash without doing it carefully. :) Sorry bro, had to bust your chops on this one.

Kicking the guy while he is down.....OUCH!!!

TMack, probably a bad ground or two when you yanked the dash out I assume. Have you checked all the grounds?
