Haven't posted any updates in a while...I finally stepped up to 35's, I picked up some bfg baja t/a's. I also replaced the temporary hella 500 with a hella xenon red ring so now all 3 lights on the bumper match...that's about it for now. Future plans are to build a engine cage and tie it into the cab cage and install the fiberglass fenders and hood.

Looks way better in my opinion. I always thought the 33's looked too small. Good decision to keep it.

Randy,
Wait until you take it out.... the 35s will make the holes feel alot smaller! I think you will really really enjoy it!

Yup he's right night n day difference between 33's,35's,&37's as far as what smaller bumps feel like. The bigger the tire the smoother the ride. You will love the change.

Yeah that's what i heard. I'm digging the look of the 35's and cant wait to go play... Going to be a bit though, the trans went out in my daily driver so my play $$ went towards that. I was planning on taking the bronc out the second weekend of april for a 500 mile offroad trip with some friends but due to $$ it looks like ill be hitching a ride in my buddies jeep. Should still be fun though, we will be hitting death valley, dumont dunes, checking out Mansons hideout and some old mines. Just wish the bronco was going...next time i guess

Holly flat spots batman! So the bronco was sitting for 2 days and i took it out today and thought it had a bent axle or something. Jacked up the rear and threw it on some jack stands and put it in gear to make sure everything was ok. Turns out its very common with these tires and they round out after driving for a bit...Guess ill just keep a mouth piece in the glove box lol

You guys remember I had 35" projects? Ya f that! the flat spots on mine were so bad the dash looked like it was a diving board every morning, especially when cold. Ya I say racing tires are cheap for a reason when it comes to street use. The flat spots were the only reason I went to 37's. I happened to have the dot 37's on my project truck n now it's on jack stands, nuff said. U may consult your shocks n see if they agree on radials before your seals melt down hahaha.

Make sure they have plenty of air in them, helps keep them round. 35PSi for around town.

The first time I drove with one of those I had barrowed it as a spare while off road. The next morning as I hit the highway I thought My wheel was falling off. Pulled over and check the lugs on all 4 wheels. Inflated it from 20 to 35 and it got better, but still took at least 5 miles to warm up and go round.
