Longer shackles help with more droop?
Expedition console looks good..
Is there another type console that's a little wider up front?

i picked it up from a guy in hesperia.Silverslk wrote:Where did you find that one? I've been keeping an eye out at the yard for a tan one to go with my interior. Tony (TCM GLX) has a link to a guy with his GPS in one and everything.
Post up the pic Tony.

Ya, you will get more droop with a longer shackle. Not sure about a wider console. I haven't been to any junkyards to compare.D1cker1 wrote:Longer shackles help with more droop?

That console looks really good... are you going to duplicolor it to match the interior? It looks very functional...Kel Fab Creations wrote:I copied crisis88's idea and picked up an expedition center console.

Re: Kel Fab Creations Bronco Build
either duplicolor or SEM. My bro used SEM on the black plastic trim all over his 05 f150 and it turned out really nice. Since the dash and every panel on the inside of mine is a little faded I might just do it all then I won't have to worry about matching old to new. Only question now is do i wanna keep the blue panels/dash. hmm...

Re: Kel Fab Creations Bronco Build
So I have been trying to sell the wheels that came with my tires for a few months with no luck (5 on 5 pattern) so I decided to make them usable and machine a 5 on 5.5 pattern.

I've always liked the outlaw 2's so I may put them on mine. I really like the look and function of the beadlocks I made but they have been difficult to balance. They're good up to 50, after that its pretty noticable. What they probably need is a welder next to the balancing machine and a series of welds instead of sticky weights that fall off . Or maybe I should stick the wheels on the lathe to face them and zero out the bore of the ring I welded on. What do you guys think?

I've read that if your cruising and hit a pothole or something the beads will throw it out of round bad till they rebalance. Can u give me a link to the ones your using Brian? So u have no weights right? Just beads?

Re: Kel Fab Creations Bronco Build
That can work. I think a lowback or removable headrest seat works best for this, but as long as you're not hitting the roof & stopping the seat when you try & lean it forward it should be good to go.
I tried it before in the ranger but seat hit the roof before it leaned far enough forward to do any good.
