Yes, Bronco is being painted Toyota Grey, and everything is being powder coated semi gloss black. I like to keep it simple when it comes to color.D1cker1 wrote:Just curious what color your powder coating the suspension.
Are you painting the bronco grey?

Thanks man, I was going to change all of the glass but have decided to keep it. There is too much nice work in the hood system to change it all. Yes, I will be probably be prerunning at least a section of the 1000. Racing plans have been changing a lot this year so I don't know exactly what section I will be doing.

Re: Jacob 93 Prerunner
Ohh cool man, part of the trade for getting this Bronco was my 1600 car. I want to get another one if I can stop spending money on this thing.
Yesterday i remounted the fuel filters and pumps, ac, MSD coils, shock resevors and such. They were all mounted with cheap stock bolt on mounts or rubber bushings with hose clamps. So i changed all of it to the weld on resi mounts. I forgot to take any pics. I should be getting all the pwdercoat by monday and it will start going back together. Tomorrow I should be able to prime and paint the engine cage.

I did take a pic of my new Brake pedal though. Also have a matching gas pedal!

Looking good! I've been tempted many times to build one of those but have always been too lazy to actually do it. Love the looks of them.

Re: Jacob 93 Prerunner
You should, really easy. I used the stock hanger and cut off the stock pedal and bent it straight so it moved the pedal about 3" to the left which is perfect if you want to turn it into a 2 foot drive pedal setup. Than you just have to make the pedal and weld it to the hanger. I have also seen some I like that dont even have the dimples and have grip tape.ChaseTruck754 wrote:Looking good! They are super simple to do that's for sure - I've just always got bigger/more important stuff on my plate. Like making my trucks actually run 1st
One of these days though...

Thanks guys.
Yea, the foot rests are key. This bronc had one sense I bought her but after I put the new pedals in it stood out as ugly!! Haha, so I cut it off and made a matching one. I couldn't imagine off roading without one.

Coming together nicely! Here is today's progress. It's starting to look like a truck again. Might drive it down to paint tomorrow!
