Thanks Andy! I just don't like the 22ish degree bend on the passenger link. I've seen it many times on different rigs, but goes against my way of thinking. Maybe the good side is it will absorb hard impacts and save the sector shaft. Haha!

IMHO I'm with Steve on this... don't over think this. I've seen quite a few swing steering setups and I'm with you and don't like the "excessive" bend needed for clearances but you know, they seem to just flat work! It does go against all common sense to put such a large bend, straight is ALWAYS better, but in these cases, it's just not to be. And again, they work really well. You mentioned yourself...not much toe change... that's what you're trying to achieve... the added stability and reliability you'll get with straighter steering... and from what I've seen, it really looks like you've paid very close attention to the details on strength... so I'd put all the rest of the part back together and go forth and romp that Bronco!
