There is a dash fix? I made a bracket on my truck. Didn't know there was a dealer part.

Found this on "the other" Bronco site. Contacted my buddy at the dealer and he located one back east somewhere (I think). Retail $31.08 (pic borrowed from a FSB guy too)philofab wrote:There is a dash fix? I made a bracket on my truck. Didn't know there was a dealer part.
I found info on this and ordered it from Ford last month.
It is Service Kit F4TZ-1504366-A Bracket with Attaching Parts.
1992-94 Bronco/F-Series Right Hand Instrument Panel Tab Replacement.
I haven't had time to install it yet. Good luck.

Re: Andy (Silverslk) 1995 Bronco (slow project)
Well, I took Nicks advice and spent Sunday working with Mike (Smart Alex on here) and he made me a upper rear shock mount. He even let me help with things I couldn't screw up!! haha Mike is a great guy and a EXCELLENT fabricator with MAD welding skills. I have pics of his Bronco he is building but can't share them. I will say...... pretty crazy.
I removed the stock upper mounts this week after work and will install it tonight or tomorrow.

I better not. Its not gonna be bumped right or strapped but I'm rolling 4 deep so I will be enjoying the view and company more than trying to haul up front.hobbyturnedobsession wrote:No more broken shocks in baja Andy?

Nice! It's neat when you can be a part of the process, isn't it? And yes, Mike has some amazing welding skills!

I'll take some pics today but after painting (dear god...no powdercoat? haha) I held the outer plate up and with 1/2" holes for 1/2" bolts (no slightly oversized holes) every single bolt hole lines up perfectly (all 5).tcm glx wrote:Mikes welds are just gorgeous, Vic has his rear shock mount and it has worked out great Andy......good stuff!!Silverslk wrote:Well, I took Nicks advice and spent Sunday working with Mike (Smart Alex on here) and he made me a upper rear shock mount.
