Now that's how you make good use of what's available to you. Way to be creative.

Yup. That's perfect. I was planning on tacking washers into the bushing hole to do the same thing. I think I got the idea from Chris W.
The aluminum puck is perfect. Good job. You should post that in the "front suspension" thread.

That is cool. Did you just machine a shank down to 1/2" or whatever & thread it so you can thread the hole saw onto it or what?

Re: Kel Fab Creations Bronco Build
Thanks guys. Exactly Steve, there's only like 1.5 threads on there though. Those arbor adapters don't give u much meat left over to thread something else on. Didn't loosen up at all. If I end up doing a lot of these beams I may switch over to stainless as the aluminum will get gawled up with time. I would entertain the idea of making some more of these if anyone is interested.

To all -
I did not mean to cause any confusion posting my hangers in this thread. I want to point out that my hangers are a large drop and use a custom shackle as well. I designed them for my class 3 which has no sheet metal in the back. I do not think what I have designed now would work on a "stock" bronco. Also, my fuel cell mount covers up the back side bottom of the frame, so my hangers will get a "doubler" on the outside being supported by tube work, with the bolt going through both pieces. The ones Kel Fab has get support from the bottom of the frame as well, which make them better for a bronco with a stock frame. Given the fact that I posted this pic in his build thread, I would not feel right "stealing" work from him, as he is interested in selling his hangers as well. Thanks to anyone who was interested though!

How much???
Ha ha jk!
I honestly just thought maybe you guys knew each other and were kidding around; never thought anything malicious. Right away, i recognized them from your thread, so i just thought you guys might've 'Collabo'd' on 'em. Then i scrolled back and realized Kel's were different so i tried to edit fast. If anything, my bad for misunderstanding the post

Re: Kel Fab Creations Bronco Build
skinned the front fenders. was actually pretty easy. i didn't even have to take the inner fender off the truck to do so either. cut off wheel on a 4.5'' electric grinder and air hammer with sharp chisel tip on it did the trick. I still have to trim more off the inner for up travel clearance. thought i would be able to keep the plastic fender well trimmed up but now that i have a better look at it, i'm sure it will have to go. Also got new lights, grille, support, etc. to replace the stuff that was bent, smashed, cracked from the fender bender it was in. Next up is all the stock suspension getting ripped out to mock up the new stuff.

Re: Kel Fab Creations Bronco Build
Still rolling on stock suspension. Put the new wheels/tires on. Been driving it around a bit. I copied crisis88's idea and picked up an expedition center console. It fits very well and even clears the shifter. Trying to put in a new stereo deck but the wiring is fighting me. Picked up a nicer rear bench from Tchajagos. Picked up some twisted stitch reclining seats from Frontrunner54
but not sure if im gonna keep em. I think I prefer my wider seats but the recliner feature is awesome.

Re: Kel Fab Creations Bronco Build
ya, pretty sure all 97-02 are this style. would be cool if it had rear cup holders too though. check out jose's pics, his interior is way cleaner than mine and his colors actually match for the most part. http://www.gofastbroncos.com/forum/view ... =33&t=3775

Re: Kel Fab Creations Bronco Build
Where did you find that one? I've been keeping an eye out at the yard for a tan one to go with my interior. Tony (TCM GLX) has a link to a guy with his GPS in one and everything.
