For the most part we were running 45-50 mph.... and the ride was really smooth. We were not pushing super hard or anything, never came down on the bumps. With 2-3 runs downs the road to get familiar with it, I would say 55-60 is very doable.

BTW, here is a video of a LS powered S10 going through the first half of that same road... really sweet s10!

I'm very proud of you Tony! Dezert pinstriping, dust, dirt. It was like watching your kid go off on his first day of school.

Thanks Nick..... its funny to see how some people actually believe the hype that she is a mall queen, or doesnt get used, and then when they come out.... amazed and the use (abuse)

Just ask Chris about out extravaganza in San Felipe this March.... we were cutting through no mans land!! Good times.

Now this weekend, wash, wax, and heavy teflon AGAIN!

Video looks good Tony, not as slow as it looked on the iphone. I'm convinced something is up with the frame rate of the iphone, because it was definitely working the suspension more than some of the video suggests. Either way, you kept a great pace, next time now that we know there's no G-Out, we'll hit 70 :D

Did a little house cleaning..... princess has seen alot of dirt this year for sure:

4 Baja trips (SF250, B500, B1000 and the awesome August trip)
5 MORE Race Series (had to bail on one of the races unfortunately)
King of the Hammers

So today I decided to start a little 2-3 week cleansing process, Tom weber style. Did the rear, pulled off the rear tires, air bumps, limit straps and shocks and got to cleaning.... shocks are going to Joel for a little additional tuning, and also found an issue with my bumpstops... will fix shortly

Gracias amigo.

Little update, shared the video with Joel and we both agree the rear can use a little more compression, so took the shocks off and getting that squared away here next week. And since the cat is and out the bag, spending a ton of time working out the pinstriping; wash, wash, teflon, repeat.........a few times!

Shocks squared away.... Joel added a larger resi, as well as new cans, in a new semi gloss powdercoat. Pics, cause nobody here reads!

I could get used to the black powdercoat.....not too bad I guess. Why are they on a table and not on your rig? hahaha
