I have a bunch of stuff for the orphanage near SF. I was waiting for the 1000 to bring it down. Is this the same one?

Hi everyone,
I am in with Nick for 2 nights. I need to know if I can just plug in to ac wall sockets like here in the states, or do I need an adapter for Baja?

The outlets at the Horsepower ranch only work if the generator is on.

I have an inverter for the truck that you can use to charge.

My laptop multi-charger works off 110 - 240V or 12V lighter / acc. socket and I have multiple plugs for different uses and multi voltage ;)
I will be bringing it along, if anyone needs it.

The Baja standard power adapter requires no parts or tools but is not exactly user friendly. First step remove any nuisance OEM plug by blunt trauma. Step two bare about an inch of copper and ball it up so it wedges in socket. If your fingers are not Baja dry (insulated) already you can use a stick to poke the wires in. Good to go and BYOLB. (bring your own light bulb).

HAHAHAHA I take it you are a seasoned Baja traveller then? I carry a pair of sidecutters to help "adapt" apliances to the local sockets :D :D

I'm just in for Friday night. Has anybody paid up with HPR? I'm leaving for Alaska next week and won't be back until the end of July. I'd like to get the GFB trip squared away before I go.
