So toggle to "arm" the push-button?
Cross-threaded is tighter than Lock-Tite.
Re: 1990 go fast bronco “Eddie “
Worked on the bronco some this weekend. Fighting out the location for my second steering swinger made mounts for the radiator picking away at it a little here and there
Re: 1990 go fast bronco “Eddie “
Got some time to work on this again now that my vacation is over and ribs have healed. I made my brackets for my double swing steering and I’m going to start on the wiring. I also rolled it out side to wash it

Had some time to work on this lately. Between helping my dad coyote swap his early bronco and other projects. It pulls 18” of travel up front 60% up travel 40% down on the 12” coil overs bump stops are tacked in need to make some more plates for the drivers side and finish weld them it’s close to final ride height I might lower it some yet we will see. I still need to do the limit straps yet. I plan to work on the fuel cell and rear shocks next.

Finally got a chance to work on this with no distractions this weekend. My patents was out of town so I got it on the hoist in my dads shop.
I started working on a pitman arm cut out a plate with the plasma put a bend in it and got a rough shape started. It works but needs some more bend to it. I had my son cut out some plates with the plasma cutter for the bump stops up front to get those done. Then I mounted my front and rear limit straps. I also mounted my steering quickner. From center it is 1/2 turn to full lock each direction.

I have been working on getting my barn emptied out and cleaned up for the winter. And it’s just about there so I decided to bring this home to my shop. It will make it easier to work on at home. Plan is to knock out the wiring at home. I will also do some more cage and sheet metal work on it here.

A couple updates.. I been collecting more parts and have decided the 460 is going. I have acquired a coyote so I’m on the hunt for a few more things to go that route. I need a trans and t case as well as a wire harness. I have also picked up some new 35” bfg a/t’s cheap. Full set of 5. So the current tires and wheels are up for sale.

Some progress is better than no progress right? Lol I started routing my brake lines. That’s all. I been busy my grandpa just passed and I have been dealing with that and I started working on the original black one for my wife to drive in the summer. Along with my tow rig camper and Harley. This has taken the back burner for a while.
I need to get the coyote power plant stuffed in it with the trans then I will start working on it a lot again probably around August

Hopefully I will be getting back to work on this soon. Looks like I will be pulling the q80’s and linking it. I want to do it once and be done. I’m taking my time and enjoying the process. Right now I will start getting a parts list and watching market place ect for deals. In the meantime I hope to start fitting the coyote and 6r80 in the frame rails.

Nice! With it being dual overhead cam is it a tight squeeze? Are you going to use the stock transfer case?

I’m not sure yet. I do plan on pushing the engine back in the chassis and cutting the firewall as it will get stretched
