Interesting! I had never seen it from the back. I had just ASSumed the main body was a single thickness & didn't realize they recessed the area where it bolts to the steering hub. I don't think that recess is fully needed, but that bracket it definitely machined.

If they're copies of the original Saleen cruise control brackets, it uses 87-88-ish Thunderbird switches.
