In some respects. The problem is, I can't quite find the dollar tree. Still almost a grand left to spend to get this wrapped up.
That's how it goes... still $1000 is pretty close. Most of that is to use your giant shocks huh?

Thanks Jer. No doubt, getting out in the dirt again is long overdue.

Here's some poor-boy bumpstops. Still trying to use what I've got on hand to save the $,$$$. The right side may tie in to the clevis mount, which is why the extra material.

Not what I wanted. If it still needs the help after these shocks are dialed I'll go with a shorty.

I have to say working with Ron at Revolution Racing Shocks has been great. He is going out of his way to put some tender springs together for me. I haven't got the final word on whether or not he can get them to my specs, but he's working on it and that just rocks! Even better than that...he used to race with these shocks and was able to give me some pointers on them. First and foremost being to be sure to use Viton o-rings, because the rubber will break down the first time they heat up. (Are these Viton Steve?) He confirmed that they do tend to run hot; however, being on the front I shouldn't have a problem with Delrin sliders. They prefer aluminum though. He said to leave about a 3/4" spring separator flange and .05" clearance to the shock body to allow the air to move around. That's how they do it. He's also got a bunch of RGM springs in a 28" 450lb variety. A little stout for a single spring, but interesting to know that they're working with him.

As far as I know they're standard rubber o-rings. I didn't ask for anything special since that's what came out of them. I don't have any idea at what temperatures those start going to poop. Maybe Kris can answer that?

Nice valve.

I just discovered what I thought was the result of a bent frame is actually a bent body at the A pillar, so yeah, the 1000 is best case. Reality is this thing needs to be caged...NOW!

Are you going to run a hood scoop for that new air intake? What's the air intake temp sensor going to tell you about the air temp now? Speaking of that, where are you going to put the AIT sensor?

You're going down the same path I did... you'll be happy when it's done, and it's a great project!
