I'm going to a tempt to build a frame or the rear bench out of square tube and angle. What thickness should i use? Is 1/8" not enough?
I have done a few sets for customers. It is easy to do the front sliders and takes about 4 hours to cut down and clean up and fab. We also have a tubing rear seat frame that we cad up that uses all factory seat mounts to bolt in either 1 bucket, 2 buckets, or bucket bench depending on customer request. Its all easy stuff just time consuming. The first set up we did cost about $100 in materials. Hers some pics I hope it helps.RyanDS650X wrote:Oh they are![]()

That one from Southwest looks pretty straightforward for even someone newer to fab. Simple yet strong. I'm sure you can bust something like that out Ryan.
