angle on new Currie 9 inch housing

I am replacing my rear end with an F9 fabricated housing from Currie. it is 2.5 inch wider per side. I have the threat shock mount.. and shackle kit with Q80's, and a 1350 joint. I have mounted it and sent it back for complete welding, but during mockup I did not have the third member to correctly check the pinion angle. Currie really thinks that they should weld on the leaf perches. When they sent it to me they said they tacked it at the factory spec's, My bronco had a wedge shim (factory?) of 1 1/4" rear... 5/8" front , when I took the original leaf pack out. Is there a degree number I can give them so they can weld the perches on? The guys at SOLO had mentioned 11 degrees, but Currie says their not sure.

25 degrees from perch to 3rd member surface face, and no shim. Stock driveline with 1350 yoke out back. should cycle the Q80s all the way through.

SOLO says 11 degree.... Currie says 12 degree.... Shockseals says 25 degree.... What am I missing here?
Is there some information I have left out for this big of a difference?

It really should be done on the truck with it sitting at ride height to get it right. It's kind of specific to your truck, although many trucks are set up similarly so guys can get it close based on what others have done.

that's my number.

When I tig welded the mounts on the first time around on the bench when I built the thing I took a measurement I was given from somebody...it was 16 degrees. If you go thru my thread I linked above to you will see how that worked out for me and I had to cut off the nice work and start over.

Also see my build thread here on this page below where the rear end went in....the picture RR1 where you can see the 3rd member and spring perch is at 16 degrees and that was not enough. It vibrated like an SOB going down the highway and was cut off shortly after that trip.

Id bet that's an 8.8 factory perch to pinion number.

Springs, shackles, and ride height affect the number...

I'm gonna agree with setting perrched on the vehicle. Its not a complicated task either. I'd have currie hold off and set them yourself not a complicated job really only need a welder and a measuring tape.
