That blue crew was at Spirit getting some maintenance when I was down for the 500 and it is all you could ever want in a truck! Wow!

I'm guessing those are 42's and 20's? That or the girl is pretty short. Do they make 39's in r20?
Re: Prerunner Bronco Pic Post-& other cool stuff too...
Yeah it did have 42's on 20's. It now has 40" Toyos on 17's and is getting a 2014 conversion

Sweet road train on the 5 south in La Jolla yesterday. I started smelling the race fuel from quite a few cars back, before I spotted the buggies & then eventually the Ashcraft TT on the trailer. Didn't realize the 4 seaters were street legal in CA...

I wonder how they pulled that off. Street legal new buggy? I figured the manx was the last of that era.

I didn't think they'd have plates & were doing a quick move & hoping for no problems, but realized there were plates.
I see/saw mirrors, headlights tail lights/turn signals and they both seemed to have windshields, so I would think wipers there too. I'm sure they could get tagged for quite a few things not meeting spec, but who knows. Throwing enough $ at a honda 50 can make it street legal. These things probably work the same. My guess is they're registered in a non smogging county though at a bare minimum.

They look like baja bugs to me. Lol. I'll bet they've got VIN's from a dub. Probably just lack mud flaps to be 100% legal.

That's is Richard and the guys from RPM. I am not sure how they got plates for them. I think they may have gone the special construction route. I do know they got hassled a while back in Temecula while driving them out to the desert. Lot of grey areas going on there............

Is that a glass hood with factory hood springs?
Re: Prerunner Bronco Pic Post-& other cool stuff too...
It's a steel hood, but the 4BT is cooler!

FYI _ the plated buggies are actually pretty common and easy to get. You register it through the SB100 special construction process. Believe it or not they are smog exempt when done properly. Yes there are restrictions and rules but it's pretty simple to do. Part of the process is a CHP inspection so you do need 100% of the street legal equipment, i.e. , wipers, blinkers, DOT lights etc. You need fenders to pass inspection, most people take them off after they pass and just risk the fix it ticket. There is a DMV service in Ramona that is very helpful in getting this done, I have a buddy doing one as we speak.
