Bronco/F150 parts wanted

Post by AussieRod »

I am after:
AOD dipstick and tube, TV cable for truck EFI, VSS, speedo cable, etc.
E brake pedal ass'y, (mine wont hold anymore and I need a better one for inspection).
Preferably in or around SoCal. I will arrange inspection, pick-up, Paypal payment, etc.
I'll add more as I think of it. :)

Rod - I think I've still got the e brake pedal assembly from my Bronco (96). It's been sitting outside and has some surface rust, but it should be in good working order. Drop me a line if you're interested.

sounds like a good reason to come over..... ha ha

one weekend and you'll have everything.

Another option car-part.com prices may vary but might be easier to find what you want.

We've got some GFB coverage over there too!! I also have a friend from high school over there who would be willing to help me out depending on timing. He lives about 100 miles west of Phoenix but goes in fairly often.

Finally got a picture! Once again, it's summer time, the kids are home all day and my computer suddenly has the flu. Slower than molasses.

Bugger, although the pedal, release handle and cable are all basically in the same place, the shape is totally different. Unless the earlier type is different, mine is probably specific to RHD :(

I've got a few around I think. Should have one off a 86, 87 & 96 - although I probably couldn't tell you what was what anymore. I can see what I can find tonight & grab some pics if you want to see if the earlier ones may be different.

I think the RHD is gonna be your problem Rod. Our stuff is a mirror image of your stuff.

For my RHD 84, they re mounted the stock E brake ass'y on a bracket just right of the trans tunnel. The shape of the main body is different to Yike's E brake. I'll post a pic tonight for reference. Thanks for the help, guys, I hope I can find a good one to satisfy the inspection nazis. :)

You might look at the guts if all you need is the ratchet and paul(sp) they may interchange.

Of course when I pulled my camera out at the shop today the battery was dead. Will have to try again later.

So I'm gonna have to say sorry, but I guess I don't have the thing anymore. I swear I put it on the shelf with the other '86 parts but when I looked today to take the pic it wasn't there! When I looked around the shop a bit more it was no where to be found. I guess maybe I tossed it at some point in the last "house cleaning" session at the shop???
