4.88 and 35's?
Hey guys, about to re gear my truck and needed some input. I'm thinking about putting 4.88 in the truck but I only run a 35 inch tire. For those who run that set up is it a good all around hear or should I run 4.56.

You should ask Birdco85. He has 4.88s.

4.88 and 35's?
^ I concur ^
Re: 4.88 and 35's?
I run 4.56 with 35's and it works fine on the highway but 4.88 would work fine and probably work better with a load in the truck.

I'm running 4.11s with 35" tires and like it fine, but I'm definitely looking for overdrive past 80 mph.

I'm happy with the gears. I did it with the assumption that some day I'll go to 37's and don't want to regear again. Very streetable and great off road.

I have done both 4.56 and 4.88 with 35's. I like the 4.88's a little better (if your truck has OD) that extra couple hundred rpm's on the fwy is worth the low end torque you get. Especially with a stock motor
