Camping Spot Needed

I need help finding a good place to go camping this summer with some fam and friends. List of necessities-

Isolated
gun friendly
reasonable weather in June-July

preffer-

water i.e. river, lake , creek
within a few hundred miles of N. County San diego

Any suggestions??

camp coldbrook in azusa is always nice.. they have a outdoor range not to far away. plus if you want to the ohv is open for a little bit of offroading

No water/creek around camp though, right? I think you have to drive down to the creek or head back to Big Bear Lake.

Deep creek isn't too far away, we swam there one summer but I've never offroaded there, only heard about that area.

I know there's a shooting range in arrowhead. I think it's locals only but I'm sure you could get in.

There is another shooting range in lytle creek along with a camp ground not far away.

i was always told deep creek is fed land and your not suppose to go in there.. i know alot of people that still go offroading in there and they say they never see anyone.

Maybe. I was with some friends when I went so knowing them we went where we weren't allowed. On a side note in my admission of guilt the statue of limitations has long since run out. It was a long long time ago but a very cool spot.
