I wonder if they started with a Bronco II frame.. It'd be pretty cool to build one using a Bronco II frame and swap out the front Dana 28 for a Bronco/F150 Dana 44 which would make it 11 inches wider.

I looked through all your pics (or so I thought) & I somehow missed it. I'll go back & re-look. I was focusing on the 70's F series stuff the 1st time around so maybe I just overlooked it.


*edit* Just looked back & found the pics. The frame does look like an EB bronco based on the pics. Looks like it's been stretched slightly too.

Funny - another buddy who went to this called me on Sun morning & asked if I was there. When I said I wasn't he said there was a nicely done dentside all TIG welded, etc. & he'd take some pics since it was my type of truck/build. I told him to take a bunch of pics for me. I haven't heard back from, but I'm pretty sure the one you got a bunch of pics of was the truck. I like it!

Way cool. Years ago I considered putting a Scout body that was down the road from my parents' house on an Explorer TTB chassis with all the Autofab goodies I had. I think it would have made a cool truck. The truck above is a nice ride.

The bronco build started out 9years ago and was completed December 2011. Its a 1968 .The fab work was dun by mike tuba out of la vern ca,Trans was buit by Steve Culhane. 351w 13:1 on VP110 it has a dana 44 TTB with 543 eaten locker and spool I'n the rear

I have a few pics, unfortunately i dont have a complete start to finish, mostly at the end

yes, it was stretched 10", and it is the original eb frame, although if i knew what we were going to end up with
i wouldve started with a ranger or fsb frame, it wasnt supposed to go this far, it was originaly going to be the
straight axle-3 link with coilovers in the front, and rear was going to be bypass with deavers, and i kept convincing
karl to go one step farther each time, i wish we would've had the game plan from the begining, could've come out much better.

love the work you guys have done! would really like to see more detailed pics if you have them. noticed no front d/s, is it in the works?

thanks ollie, the bronco really isnt finished yet, the front coilovers got put back on by accident before we could measure for the shaft, and we just havent taken it back apart since. it also needs a front skidplate, and i built a spare tire basket that mounts to the rear bumper, but was built for a 37x12.50.15 on a 7inch wheel that im assuming doesnt fit with the project-walker combo, im assuming thats why its not on the truck.

im pretty sure we are going to the more 500, so it'll be out for sure then

ill see what i can dig up and ill post some more pics tomorrow
