I wanted one of the donkey crossing signs like they have along the highway. Nobody sold them. Was going to run one over and take it with Me, but I didn't see any heading out to the east.

Haha philo! I must admit there was a remarkable amount of ass in that town. You should have grabbed a sign Brian. Ya I never found the motorcycle museum, we got as far as the general store/merchantile and walked back. Was cool to see but my kids were getting pissed cause they wanted to explore abandoned buildings.

The road on the backside of Oatman is super twisty, has zero guard rails, big drop offs, narrow, donkeys, goats, and sometimes random junk in middle of the road. Oh, and big trucks drive though there from the mines. Just like Mexico.

Not a prerunner, but pretty COOL and super clean!....... Not mine, found this on Craigslist. Brings a lot of memories back, Pops had one just like this in the 70s. Can remember riding in the over head on the way up to Lake Sabrina in the Sierras or going up to Big Bear/Arrowhead as a kid. Good times

Man, I hated carrying 37" tires when they started becoming popular. Compared to the 35" one in between the two 37's they were so much heavier after 15 hours chasing down in Baja. Now the 42" tires, That just sucks. :-/

Agreed. Putting 35's on the Class 1 sucked. 39's turned into one hell of a lift - especially in a hurry to get them on. I don't envy guys having to stuff those 42's on. Just crazy!

Dimple Dies have their place but like makeup on a pretty woman, they both should be used sparingly. Just because you have a dimple die set does not mean you need to put them on every open space possible.

I agree though, over use is prevalent with them, but I may be guilty of what Brian is describing above as many of mine could be classified as aesthetic. I'd just counter with the fact that a dimple is stronger & lighter than just a flat plate, so why not???? In moderation of course.
