That looks pretty amazing. That guy has a ton of patience to build something with that much detail. Even the headlight lenses were done right.

We were too busy playing to take fotos. Damn it are these things fun in the sand. I think I'm going to get another 3 cell and set the shocks/springs up for the heavier battery.

Brian, you need to give me some set-up tips. I swear your old car tracked better than mine ever did.....

The inboard mounted 12mm rear shocks made a huge difference. Could drop it from 6ft and not bottom harsh. Would eat whoops. The front was long travel. It had FT rear shocks. I think I ran 40wt with heavy springs in the rear and 35wt with heavy springs in the front. Don't recall which pistons. It sure was fun while the trans lasted. Haha!

Also: Had lots of anti-squat in the back. 1dgr hubs and 3.5dgr toe blocks. 1dgr camber rear. 3dgr camber front. Battery to the rear. Lots of weights on the front.

My Traxxas Slash Hummer build is coming along. Totally dig this body but I get the feeling it won't be able to take a beating due to the high rear section. We will see.
