This truck was racing at the VORRA short course a couple weeks ago with what I guess is the new owner and was beat out by Don and Chris German in their Class 8 truck. It is powered by a small block Chevy that is moved way back in the frame. It also uses circle track 8 into 1 headers for that very cool sound. Suspension does work pretty well.

There's some time in the set up on that crank shaft, but the referance to a good machinist i was refering to is the calculation of piston stroke, cam lobe duration and that type of stuff that is growing fewer and farther between in the age of CNC and mastercam. I'm not shure if that was an existing design scaled down or he designed the whole thing. Still a rather large pain in the rear end to my feeble mind if done conventionally.
