Re: The Gun Thread
How was it dealing with the agency having local jurisdiction and are they very receptive to NFA class 3 stuff and how was it pulling the deal for the tax stamp for a can ?
This totally un-doable in California but some counties in Nevada and Idaho will work with you still, just wanting to hear some others experiences. I would love a can for my bolt gun!

I think all of Nevada allows it.

Paper work was super easy. I went to the local sheriffs office in Reno, and had my CLEO approval back the same work week. The BATF processing took the longest.
I just did a couple form 1's to build a couple SBR's. I had a few questions about what the BATF wanted in parts of the form 1. I called them, and the lady I spoke to was really nice, and answered all my questions.
All things considered it was really easy to get it.

Wes, the guy in the video has a store in Taft I've been in and talked to him. He is active in the fight for gun rights and works some good deals for people looking to exercise theirs.

Re: The Gun Thread
Sweet! I almost bought a Glock... twice. Both times I went in for one and left with an M&P in jail. I still want one but that will be later. Much later.cwrisley wrote:Ive been sharing with everyone I know. Thanks for the link.

Re: The Gun Thread
I highly recommend California Police Equipment in SD. They have a Glock program for military/law/fire. I walked out under $500. Cant complain about that!!

Re: The Gun Thread
Isn't that thing cool! I've watched that video so many times... just watched it again! I MUST build one of those. I think I'll try to make one that uses BB's for cheap ammo. Then, I'll shoot anything I can find in the yard. I'm not sure the wife will be as cool with me shooting stuff up in the house....
