We went out to a couple local trails today after we put the Dana 44 back in buddies Bronco.
Ran into a tow truck that couldn't make it up the trail to rescue some jeep that had a flat. Had him back down outta the way and loaded up his stuff and gave him a ride to the jeep. Was a good day. Here's some pics we took.
It was some guy and his girl. As i there were riding up the trail with me. I said "Man, I shoulda brought my wife up here and we coulda banged it out." The girl was like "Thats exactly what i told my BF but he didnt want too."
I guess they were up there about two hours waiting for some help.
Exactly, the left goes to the old glider port. If your on a bike you can get around the gate and make it to the top. A few fence detours later and your out on the north side of the indian reservation above Henshaw.
If you farther down Pamo there's another trail heading east that is not open all the time. Cool old mine up there. I remember riding in a fiberglass dune buggy between Pamo valley and HWY 78 down by the Wild animal park. Back before they gated it all off.
