or better yet - bring the beams to Randy's & pull the things there & then just leave the stuff there. His house is easier for me to get to for pick up

Cool Randy I will get a text to you...right now the upper radius arm bolts are kicking my butt.....and I didnt know the auto hubs need a different spindle nut tool....Figured it would be like my bronco I should have known hahah...

Steve...I can drop them there or meet you right there off the freeway at starbucks when its time I wasnt going to make you come all the way back to my place haha

I just got done tearing apart 2sets of beams this weekend,broke my breaker bar cracked my socket,so I ended up taking everything to the neighborhood mechanicand have him buzz everything apart .I hate factory loctite

Here's the photo from yesterday. I'm loving the "Big Steel Keg"...it's basically a poor man's Big Green Egg....and it is SO much easier to deal with than my old offset barrel smoker. Best part is it can do low-and-slow, or very hot (I've seared some delicious ribeyes on there), and I also have a pizza stone and have done some wood-fired pizza also.

Nice! But i gotta say when i saw the price tag on that bad boy, i about shat my pants!

No worries Jer. I was more joking than anything as Randy's place is on the way to my other friend's place down there, so I drive by his house a bunch. Only real reason I even mentioned it is I will be going to that friend's house on the 24th or 25th when I'm down there so if they were at Randy's I'd be driving driving by. I can meet you somewhere else or whatever though too. I'm lazy about getting them back & it's all about convenience rather than timeline really at this point, so if it doesn't work out - not a big deal!

No worries Steve I knew you werent in a rush, since I am borrowing some tools from Randy i may see if he minds holding the parts for you since its easy. I think my timeline on this project is already dragging out but it will be worth it! I need to get these things stripped and up to hesperia as soon as possible haha.

Mine cost about $225 at OSH. I bought it on sale on black friday weekend, sale price and no sales tax. good deal. It is the lesser expensive model without wheels, shelves etc.

Hey Jer, use the propane torch it works good, thats what I did. Let it sit for a while, heating all the bolt, it will burn hot enough to break the loctite loose. I can help when you come by if you want to bring the beams.

That is a great deal! I saw prices of $800.

I'm in the market for a new grill. Going to take my time and get the one that works best for me.
