Before that Bronco was stretched, it was featured in off road magazine. it was then rolled at the 40th anniversary 1000.
i believe it belonged to HRT Motorsports.

Now wonder it looks like two different people worked on it........

The HRT Bronco was a 100 foot truck. Tube work on it was very substandard. All the new stuff looks way better quality. 2WD, booooooooo...........

Is it me or does the steering look goofy? One tube looks bent right but the other doesn't. Isn't this an issue?

The cross member is notched/cut for clearance. The passenger tie rod looks weak as hell with that bend though.

Someone didn't take their time on that area. Looks kind of beat into shape. Almost over bent.

Wasn't it rolled near San Felo? I remember seeing a picture of it after the roll.

Is it also the same bronco at the end of Dezert People 2 dvd?

Truck was bought by speed tech for prerunning the 1000, and rolled down there when it was still regular wheel base.

I'm guessing driver error.

Fixed, since I suck at English.

Something was running around in the driver area, distracting the driver and causing driver error?

My guess would be they thought they could run the SF whoops in it and ended up pogoing the rear, nose diving and going end over end. Short WB vehicles do not like whoops...........

The video at the end of DP2 shows that thing going at a crazy speed down sand highway. From experience a Bronco will work just well enough in the whoops to get up to a healthy speed and then buck from a badly spaced whoop. That's how I bent my steering at Ridgecrest. The tie rod didn't like all of the vehicles weight on one front tire for some reason.

ding ding ding winner.

I kincked in bigg woops. (nothing that couldn't be solved with valving) they just didnt have time i was told before that needed to be down there to prerun.

It was so so nice before the crash.

full custom interior. nice shocks. quality parts. It made me want to finish mine after seeing it in their shop and sitting in it lol. Felt like a little kid.

Just make sure you have enough valving so that it doesn't bottom in the rear and your good. Up travel is your friend..........
