I'm a code monkey. For example:

Code: Select all

$parenttype = isset(System::$urlData['type']) ? System::$urlData['type'] : false;
$id = isset(System::$urlData['id']) ? System::$urlData['id'] : false;
if(isset(System::$urlData['userID']) && System::$urlData['userID'] != ''){
	$query = "SELECT $nbma._audit.*, $db.userData.fullName, $db.userData.userID, _queues.productID, _queues.queue, _products.*
			FROM $nbma._audit
			LEFT JOIN $nbma._queues ON $nbma._queues.id = $nbma._audit.parent
			LEFT JOIN $db.userData ON $db.userData.userID = $nbma._audit.userid
			LEFT JOIN $nbma._products ON $nbma._products.id = $nbma._queues.productID
			WHERE $nbma._audit.`table` = '_queues'
			AND $nbma._audit.userid = '" . System::$urlData['userID'] . "'";
	if ($result = DB::Query($query)) {
		$history = array();
		while ($row = $result->fetch()) {
			if (isset($row['element']) && strlen($row['element'])) {
				$old = new $row['element']($row['before_'.$row['datatype']]);
				$new = new $row['element']($row['after_'.$row['datatype']]);
				$row['before_'.$row['datatype']] = $old->name();
				$row['after_'.$row['datatype']] = $new->name();
			}
			$history[] = $row;
		}
	}
}
else{
	$query = "SELECT $nbma._audit.*, $db.userData.fullName, $db.userData.userID
			FROM $nbma._audit
			LEFT JOIN $nbma._queues ON $nbma._queues.id = $nbma._audit.parent
			LEFT JOIN $db.userData ON $db.userData.userID = $nbma._audit.userid
			WHERE $nbma._audit.`table` = '_queues'
			GROUP BY $nbma._audit.userid";
}
My car is a hybrid; it burns gas and rubber.

I work for a telecommunications engineering company. I work with power poles. Recreate them in a 3d program called pls-cadd and pls-pole, manage our edison windload department and train and manage the other program called o-calc. We make sure companies like time warner edison verizon etc. are not in violation in any way when the want to build up their systems. I also dabble a bit in auto-cad.

As long as I pass the tests, I'm going to put myself through the police academy soon though.
I'm just here for the views. It helps me feel wanted.

I am a qualified Auto Mechanic, have been playing with cars since I used to do the brakes on the family wagon at 8 y.o. Raced motocross from 10 y.o. Built a dirt oval track car at 16, and graduated to various forms of racing for 15 yrs. Now work for an engineering company as a Welder / Fabricator (self-taught) in a rural city in Victoria, Australia, fixing everything from pizza dough rollers to 90 ton Cat scrapers. Currently doing Toyota Land Cruiser Troop Carriers for a local mining company (exo cages, side bars and front bull bars, rusty floor replacement, etc.) Occasional weekend stunt driver and racer. :D I seem to be the local Bronco and F series MR Fixit, hence the screen name. No-one else here wants anything to do with them.

I work in Traffic Operations for Caltrans. Through an accident database, I study concentrations of accidents to find deficiencies on our hwys. I then implement road improvements to mitigate the problem whether it's new and larger signs, speed reduction, restriping, lighting, and on and on. Great gig that allows me flexible time off for my real life, wheeling and desert racing. Only bummer is my truck is a Chebby..haha!

Accident mitigation? Í have driven several thousand miles on US highways, and the driving standards out there are frightening. Then again, its not much better over here, either. :( Its amazing more people aren't killed every day. One idiot changed lanes abruptly at high speed, clouted the centre divider and spun across 4 lanes of traffic right in front of me. I didnt stop, luckely because there was a 15 car pile up over that. Try putting more cops out there :D Here in Victoria, any driver more than 30 km/h over the speed limit, instant 3 day impoundment of vehicle and $465 fine. I'm talking walk home impoundment. More than 40 km/h over, 1 month impoundment and 1 month suspension of licence + $560 fine. Perhaps anyone more than 15 mph over should lose their car for 3 days ;) That'll learn 'em!

Hey - it's a way to fix our screwed up budget. Still I say don't do it because I'd NEVER get my truck back...

What's that saying??? --> "If it's too loud you're too old" Well we need to change that to "If I'm too fast you're too old" :o

Yep, amazing how we have to design our hwys so that all the atrocious drivers out there don't kill us and they still find new and creative ways to wreck. More Cops out there would help, but do we really want that?
