Worrying about castor and camber on an I-beam is a waste of time an effort. Toe in is the only thing that will kill tires and should be paid very close attention too.

used this little sucker for the 1st time today. It is a bit light duty as they say in the instructions, but it worked. Not bad for being part of a $15 bag full of misc. tools from a garage sale!!

Other scores in this deal include a proto offset prybar, a small set of pin pliers, and a good quality wire stripper for small stuff (like 16 ga & smaller). Definitely happy I stopped by there!

Regarding flap wheels-- I think these guys have a pretty damn good product. They are on eBay too. It's nice to spend $75 and get a whole lot of the flap wheels that normally would cost at least twice the price. Their cutoff wheels arent any good but the flaps are legit.

Will tool storage fit in this thread? I've read lots of good things about the Harbor Freight / US General 44" tool chest but had been waiting for the right deal to come along. Last night I scored this setup with an 18" side box for roughly the cost of just the big box and it's less than a year old. It's replacing a pieced together craftsman 26" home series chest

I think it fits and let us know how you like it. I've read some of the same good reviews about it - well, best in the price range I should say. Hopefully it lives up to what I've read.

Putting the workspace together and using my rack as a bench

Had a piece of osb cut to the dimensions of the wire rack and wrapped it with a indoor/outdoor carpet runner

Those harbor frieght boxes seem really nice for the money. How long have you had it?

I've had mine for a couple of years and love it! I looked at a lot of boxes. the quality of the us general box was far superior to the offerings from craftsman, or others in my price range.

I am in the same boat you were in Robert, a bunch of smaller boxes spreading my tools out. I need to make the jump to a big box.

I'm digging the workbench idea, Robert. I'll have to post a photo of my workbench. I picked it up from a clothing store that was going out of business. The top is about 1.25" particle board. Cheap, heavy and tough.

Picked up a press brake from Swag Offroad. Really economical and with a few tweaks it should work out quite well. Bought a cheap shop press from Harbor Freight and added an OTC pneumatic jack, then picked up a foot pedal off of Ebay so I could keep two hands on the work piece. All said, minimal investment for something capable of braking 3/8" plate almost a foot wide. Super jazzed about this. Cool little press.

you will like that setup Brian. I love the little break I made that is similar to the swag setup. I should go pneumatic on mine with a foot pedal, just been too cheap/lazy. One day maybe.
