Re: Random updates... what are you working on?
Started building my 87 Bronco into a GoSlowBronco out of various scrounged parts.
What the heck, if I can't sell it off, I may as well use it.
Stripping it of all the dead weight I can first, Interior is gutted at this point.

Re: Random updates... what are you working on?
Does work count? I asked some of our guys if they'd rather work August in Santa Clarita or Catalina on the beach. Guess what their answer was?
Sucks they get to live there all week and I only get to visit on Mondays......
We're building new power and lighting for a new pier that was destroyed in the last storm they had. Tomorrow will be the end of the first week. This was the start of the new construction at the end of July:

Not too shabby, Jim!
Looks like it rivals my rough work week in Winchester Bay for DuneFest.

Trippy to see sand dunes and pine trees together like that.

Ah Catalina. My brothers girlfriend lives in the ithsmus 4 days a week & commutes home on the weekends. Not a bad place to have to work. Seeing it empty like that makes me really want to get back over there. My parents were there (ithsmus) last weekend & said it filled up by about mid day friday. They're heading back over tomorrow. I'm a bit jealous!

This is my next project. The bolt is snapped off the drivers side steering stop so it rubs the radius arm bad.

If it doesn't come out easy, just add material to the beam where the steering stop contacts it.rdcjuanb wrote:This is my next project. The bolt is snapped off the drivers side steering stop so it rubs the radius arm bad.

So far, the first 2 weeks of home ownership are sucking heavily. Nothing like doing a complete gut and remodel while working 50Hrs a week.

Ya, I know how you feel. If it is not one thing or another. I have a list a mile long for my house and my mom's. One of the next big project at my house is to raise the roof of my garage, move the door out 10 feet and put a 10 ft rollup garage door. Then I can put a car lift in the garage. I already have a rollup door going to the side of the house and my mini junk yard.BDKW1 wrote:So far, the first 2 weeks of home ownership are sucking heavily.
