I love dimples but there is definitely over use and dumb looking use. Like Steve said, take a little weight and add some rigidity to a plate.

I've seen the same thing on hot rods. I guess it's a "style" but seeing a rod with the entire trunk or hood louvered just kills it for me.

Pretty slick seat slider idea:
Notice the pull pin.

Pete Albano's Ranger had a similar set up. So simple but genius. I like!

That is how I want to do my sliders on the driver's side. The difference is I am going to use 2 pull pins on each tube. Also the tubes will use Delrin bushings to ride on. I would not trust a single pull pin.

That's cool I liked it's adjustability and it looks strong, I'll check poly performance. As you guys know I'm a cheap ass but I'm also a lazy ass so if cost outweighs time spent I'd gladly buy a set.

My buddy did the tube sliders ones like the 1st pic long ago in the 1 car due to driver size difference. They are cool for sure, but you have to be sure the tubes you weld in to the cage are square & that they do not pull at all during weld up or the sliders don't work well at all

Oil lite is impregnated with 30W oil.

Delrin AF would be My material of choice for those.

Brian, is that the grey silver-ish delrin? The stuff with the kinda reflective ground up looking stuff in it?
