GoFastBroncos Pismo/Oceano Dunes Trip! Feb 3-5, 2012
February 3-5
For those of you that have not attended one of these trips, it is usually our biggest gathering and includes a dinner pot-luck feast on Saturday that rivals any meal in off-roading! Tri-Tip, pork tenderloins, beans, salads, sides, deserts, on and on and on.... For those that stay the night or are able to show up early on Sunday, my brother and I will be making Chorizo and egg and Steak and egg burritos for breakfast. I promise either one of these meals alone is worth the trip!
There is also the small matter of His Highness, King of Huck's crown... Rick has been the reigning champion for as long as we've been meeting up! Anyone here dare challenge the king!? Bragging rights to be held for an entire year until the next challenge!
This will be a weekend event, Friday through Sunday with people arriving as early as Friday afternoon. This is an open invitation event. Anyone and everyone is welcome. This is a family-friendly event, so bring your wives, kids, girlfriends, brothers, sisters... whoever. As the trip nears, we will ask for a head count and will start planning the meal.
Off-roading, food, drinks, camping and campfire B.S.'ing... it doesn't get much better!
Get your affairs in order, your junk finished or cobbled together and come play on the sand. You will not be disappointed!
P.S. We have a few surprises planned for this trip. Stay tuned!

My birthday is July 7th. I like your style Philo. Shop early and avoid the rush. Good plan.
Now on a serious note. Being you are Laughlin adjacent maybe you can find out what weekend the Score Laughlin Desert challange is being held next year. I sent Score an e mail but no response yet.

I couldn't remember if your b-day was in winter or summer... you're birthday huck fest was awesome! Hopefully this one will be just as big and fun.
All the Laughlin races are still up in the air... per BLM. I have a feeling the date won't get released until the last minute.

I was afraid of that. I was hoping the dates would be announced at or after the 1000.philofab wrote:All the Laughlin races are still up in the air... per BLM. I have a feeling the date won't get released until the last minute.

Oh man. I almost forgot to mention the best part... RC CARS! In addition to the full-scale huckfest, there will also be an RC car extravaganza which will hopefully include a pit crew of youngin's to build a jump and flip cars over. That way, all the old-folks can just sit back and fiddle with the controls!
So who's bringing the big RC car guns!?

Karen will have a blast once she gets to meet up with everyone.... just dont let her around Carmen, she will quickly take away your builds in progress.
I am most likely out for this one guys.... Wife and I have a little one on the way, with a due date for late January. Being so far away from home is probably not the smartest idea.... I like Ryan will have to look forward to the pics and stories.

We've gone over this before Tony - there is a MAJOR difference between a WEEKEND trip (no work days off) and a trip where I have to get time off work.
I'd be leaving Friday night or early sat morning for this one. Usually can't do that for baja.
Oh and awesome on the new addition T!

Dang it Tony. You said if I came to your Baja trip last August you'd make the next Pismo trip. Well this is the next Pismo trip amigo and that's the best excuse you could come up with. My wifes having a baby? Please.
Congratulations Mom and Dad see you next time.
