For the past 4 years, a small club of car enthusiasts have gotta together in the hills and a really cool car show. After the typical tire kicking and sniffing around classic cars, they have a LeMans style start (run to your car, start it, and race!) followed by a rally to a local winery. Its been a super fun event for anyone who loves classic cars. Carrie Edelbrock was the GM last year. Next June 14-15th, the classic is returning by celebrating the 45th running of the Baja 1000 and Ivan Stewart is the Grand Marshall. It would be really to cool to get a large turn out of off road trucks out there for this event. Im planning on being there with a few buddies who are bringing their old trucks. A proceeds benefit a local charity that the committee decides. Last year all proceeds went to the Julian Medical Clinic for various needs. So mark your calenders now!!

Looks cool. Never been to Julian and I'm supposed to be changing that this weekend. Maybe I'll have to go back in June.
