4th Annual Dezert Clean up

Post by Polarcub »

Anyone else planning on going? Would be a great opportunity to get the Broncos together in the dirt:
Clean-Dezert is proud to announce its 4th annual Barstow Clean-up is scheduled for Nov.13th 2010. We are very excited for the event this year, as we have had great response every year since we started. We have some new ideas that will make this event even better and bigger then years past. As always lunch will be provided for all participants, event shirts, and hands down one of the biggest raffles you will ever see in the desert. Ever year we get great reviews with just how much fun everyone has and that its not hard work, rather a great time doing a great deed with a great reward (free stuff). If you haven't had the opportunity to take part in a desert clean-up now is your time.

Schedule of events will be as follows.

Sign ups - 8:00-9:00
Clean-up 9:00-12:00
Lunch 12:00-2:00
Raffle 2:00-3:00

I'll be there is year again. Good times and good raffles. Plus it helps keep our playground clean.

I'm a no go this year... leaving for Baja that week (wednesday) for the 1000. Will likely use the weekend to keep the fam happy, and pack and prep.

Well since I am not heading down for the B1K I am going to try and get out to this. The GFB folks should team up on this?

I was just told by a buddy that I AM going - whether or not I'll be hitching a ride with him or not is yet to be figured out.

I dont want to hear this getting in the way of the 1000 Steve!!

Oh, and for the clean up.. I MIGHT go for a few hours... just to hang out.

Not gonna happen T. Weekends are free game and therefore this has no relation to the 1k. Issue with the 1k is 3 work days in a row... If it was 1 work day and a weekend like the 500 it would be easier.

Would anyone be able to relay some parts from Brian to me? I'll be at the cleanup.

Tony - he needs them picked up at Brian's and brought to him at the cleanup...

At this point I am riding out with a buddy and with Yucaipa being pretty far out of the way to Barstow for us I don't see it happening.
