DAMN T!! 3 boxes!!! NICE!!!!

My wife actually has family IN mexico so they already send most of it down there (even stuff I want to keep but without telling me, haha). I'll do my best. Might even stop by goodwill or salvation army and buy some stuff.

Well then have him shave once you are safely in line and approaching the border. Or at least make it fun for the rest of us and give him a towel to wrap around his head and have him yell a bunch.

Just a heads up for those who haven't stayed at HPR. Word is the rooms are pretty rustic and very much Baja.
Lots of bugs still to be worked out. Haven't rented a room myself, but I can say, the bar with all the racing history on the walls, should make up for it. Have a blast!

64GB of memory for the camera. Should have enough for some good vids and pix. Got 2 stops before the trip and shouldn't take more than 3GB. Will this trip rival my Nome AK trip? I shure hope so.................

Craig, should be plenty!! I am planning on bringing my laptop, so at any given point we can download everything on the PC, and clean it up.

BajaHID Excursion is right around the corner my friends!

I had a chance to speak to Danny who is the representative for El Oasis Orphanage in Villa de Trinandad. He is excited to hear that as part of our run we will be donating used or new clothes as well as baby products. I asked Danny what other products they may need and he mentioned that school supplies is always welcomed as well as any dry food products. He will be sending me a complete list that I will post here. Please note that all of your donations are US Tax Deductible.

I will also be posting photos of the Orphanage as soon as I get them from Danny. This really is a great place that currently has over 54 kids with their first teenager going to college this year. What a great success story.

Lets make a difference and help this wonderful place out. I think about how lucky I am and how so many have so little so every bit counts. Thanks everyone.

BajaBronco13 wrote:Also friendly reminder guys, lets not forget our charitable donations of used or new kids clothes and new baby products such as shampoo, soap, baby powder, etc. I've been hitting up my family members with kids and asking for their kids' outgrown clothes and I'm hoping more of you are doing the same. This will be a nice bonus to our already great run. Nothing like giving back to Baja for everything that it gives us.

Chris

Great point Chris, completely forgot mentioning this. I will be bringing at least 3 boxes of clothes.
Hummmm........if I buy some stuff to donate, and take it there........wondering if I can deduct the cost of my trip......LOL got to check with the CPA......
