I'm looking more and more positive on this one Jer. I have a radio & can bring GPS if needed. Depending on what the deal is I can have Randy or Chris hop in with me - or I could hop in with them. I can easily wire up both the race radio & GPS on cig light power sources before Sat.

Sweet....Also I have an icom that can be used (need cig power) if someone has an extra mag base antenna that I would be willing to let someone use. Hope you can make it steve be good to see you again.

I have an extra Mag base I can bring. The magnet in it isn't very strong any more so I keep it as a spare, but it works in a pinch...

Cool, I will bring the radio (still in Bronco) haha and get a harness put together for it so we will have a spare for someone if needed.

Thanks Matt...I will pull the radio tomorrow...
Okay guys here is what we have:
Chris-IN
Randy-IN
Carl-IN
Steve-IN ish...LOL

I will leave this to you guys to tell us what you want....we would like to have you guys out at Hodge either going back and forth between inner/outer or stationary...I could really use a hand in main for the fuel stop if one or two of you dont mind running back into main for it I just need to know who...

I would prefer for everyone to check in at main in the morning so we can band everyone up but I realize this may not be practical if you dont get banded in the morning you will need to if coming back to main for the stop.

Based on the BLM reqs technically you need a band for any of the other designated pit areas. One solution is if one person wants to swing by main and can get the bands for all.

I know its not a problem for anyone thats come out but as a reminder absolutely no alcholic beverages in the pits...MORE is going to DQ the car if their pits violate this...this means main pit or remotes. I will be required to attend the drivers meeting with Matt in the morning but will have communications up no later than 7am.

So how do you guys want to handle it?

I'm ok with whatever.

I guess it depends on how early I get rolling on Sat. I'm contemplating seeing if I can crash at my buddies place in Victorville Fri night so as to save a bit of drive Sat morning but we'll see.

On a side note - I just burned 2 CDs for Matt that we talked about in August. Can't believe it's been that long since I've been in the dirt with you guys...

Ok guys looks like chance of rain 20% for saturday and wind! Saturday they are calling for 15-25mph with gusts to 45...all this is great for dust on the course at least...haha

As far as plans go if everyone is good with it just swing by Main abt 730, I expect to be set up in our usual area around the 2nd outhouse to the left entering the OHV area. I will have the radio on by 0700. The plan is to have you guys hang between inner and outer hodge. Hope we all are bored! Tech tomorrow will be at SlashX if anyone is heading out for that.

I think the only thing left now is to go win this race!!

Also, make sure to wish Gary (Jeremy and I's Dad) a Happy Birthday. His birthday is on Sunday
