Cmon guys - Happy Days is the answer Rick is looking for. Pinky Tuscadero came a bit later when the show got cheesier. I liked her sister "Leather" Tuscadero more in the earlier episodes (who was actually a real musican named Suzy Quattro).
The Fonz was a dead giveaway. I may not be an old man like some of you, but I watched plenty of Happy Days growing up. The Andy Grifith show, too....
So what's the plan? Lunch then head to the beach or go straight there? I'm up for whatever but I do have plans for dinner on Saturday, so it'll be an early evening for me.
What's up with the freak thunderstorm here in Pismo?
Update -
So I was up all night with coughing and the damn thunder and lighting did not help my sleep either. Got very little sleep. May make it out there later if I feel safe enough to drive.
Also, Nick just texted me that his father in law had to go to the hospital last night, so he will not make it this time. Please pray for Nick's father in law. Thanks guys.
We had a small Bronco turn out but BIG air. I certainly haven't played that hard in a long time and I think Rick was pushing a little harder than he normally does on sand. We played some great follow the leader, burned almost 3/4 of a tank of fuel each and managed to pull the right front tires off the beads. Once for me and twice for Rick. We also got to play with Parish for a bit on Saturday. I think he might have gotten a few good shots during our first jump session.
As a final performance we executed the Triple Lindy of off-road moves... the synchronized double jump!
Thanks for the photos, Parish! It was great to see you out there. And, yes, we do need to get you a new shirt! Hopefully some of the Off-Road guys will forward the photos they took soon. Including those of the newly dubbed "Double Lindy"!
P.S. Word on the street is that His Royal Highness was dethroned this weekend. It will, however, take time for word to arrive from the battlefield. A Royal decree shall possibly be made via the peasant's publication "Off-Road Magazine".
WOW!! Nice pics!!! Looks like the Broncos had good representation.
