MORE Sept 7th Lucerne
Re: MORE Sept 7th Lucerne
I'll echo everyone else that went...great time, great crew...thumbs up all around. I took it easy on my rig since it was the first time out, and she handled great in the stuff I did throw at her. No casualties except a thorn in the front passenger tire sidewall, and a whole lotta fun.
Here's a couple pics that I took:

Not really sure, nobody does. SOMETHING in the suspension broke, but it's hard to tell what after that violent of a rollover, everything broke after that lol.

Hey Jim - is your new toy a-armed???? Almost looks like it from the pics but I haven't seen a good enough one to tell for sure.

Re: MORE Sept 7th Lucerne
yup. How'd you get a street car suspension under a truck???
Re: MORE Sept 7th Lucerne
Lol. To be fair, I didn't, my buddy is a nut job and decided he wanted to build this. It's back at his place and he's re-doing a bunch of stuff, making it stronger for me since he knows how I drive

Very similar to what we started to go for with my ranger before it snowballed to where it sits now. I like it.

I've learned to dislike it actually. It's kept me out of the driver's seat for a while.

Re: MORE Sept 7th Lucerne
The goal is the drive it with 2.0 shocks, then keep modifying, loose Intrest and constantly make it better..
Once that's achieved, find something wrong with it and put it up for sale.. Lol

Re: MORE Sept 7th Lucerne
I just wanted to thank everyone that was out there last weekend for the Kaveman Team. We were very grateful to have everyones support especially coming out to get us after we went over. I know I speak for the whole team when I say Thank you! It was great seeing everyone and meeting some new people too...wish circumstances would have been better and I would have been more social. Next time though. Thanks again everyone!

Re: MORE Sept 7th Lucerne
I know this is very late (it has been a hectic few weeks!) and Jeremy already said it weeks ago but.....Thank you all for showing up and helping Kaveman Motorsports out at the Chili Cook Off! I wish it had been better result for us but it was still a great day. A big thank you to chase for getting Bettie to roll....it was quite a relief knowing that I didn't have to figure out how to get her off the trailer at home!! Thanks again and I am looking forward to the next one!
