Dont swap anything until the coils have had a chance to settle...

I told him make sure he jumps up n down on the front a bunch of times to make sure everything is seated. Anyone have any idea how long they take to start sagging a little? I think he wants about an inch lower.

I ran them for the first time for about a year and they really dont settle much, i couldnt keep the alignmant happy. I took em off and ran a 4" procomp last year and really missed the ride and of road feel of the Deavers. Thats when i decided to find a way around the ride height.

I told him cut a rung off a coil if he's that worried about the camber correction. That beats reworking what's been done in the c&t aspect. Unless a larger cam can be had.

I'd move the coil bucket up before I cut a coil off.

Good idea Steve. Hoping he didn't weld on the coil buckets.

Lowering the coil seat still sounds like an easier option with the same benefit.

coil mounts pretty much directly on top of the beam. How does one lower that?

From the pic above it looks like it could go down maybe 3/8"???

Yea I'm gonna drive and beat on the front end to see if any settling occurs. I'm absolutely not moving the coil buckets. The ballistic lower mounts might be the best bet if no settling occurs. The front end is pushed forward about an inch so moving the lower mounts via a new style lower mount might be a solid idea. Still gotta finish the front skidplate, about half the rear bumper to finish and just odds and ends-- probably 2 days worth of the little things. How do you eat an elephant ?? One piece at a time!! lol :-)

Keep in mind your lower coil mounts might be different heights side to side with one side being much shorter than they other = not much to gain with the ballistic pieces.

Safe to assume the coil buckets are a "no move" due to fab work done to them? I think it was you that did a custom shock mount on some not too long ago. If not - why such opposition to it???? It's the best way to solve your current problem...

Yea -- look at the older pics-- there is a hell of a lot of work in them and at this point I just dont want to mess with the buckets. The lower coil mounts are just the factory sway bar ones that have had the sway bar portion cut off. I just want about an inch down. Its like anything-- Ive just got lots of things on this truck and to re-work a coil bucket without at least trying the easy stuff or different coil to me seems off to me.
