Re: Tonys 93 bronco
Minor update....
*Replaced lens for instrument panel (cleaned everything up while it was apart). Andy got me a brand spankin new one, FORD!
*Took advantage, pressure washed the entire carpet
*Will replace fuel cap with a OEM one (again thanks Andy for the hookup)
Cage is still in progress, if all goes speedy, will pick up next Friday.

Most definitely Tom, the amount of documented hours on this vs Vic's is significantly lower.....I can't wait to get her back together, it's lonely here with no Bronco in the garage to work on during the weekend....

Just curious, but why didn't you go with an "A" bar across the front windshield?

Hey Tony,
I didn't do a dash bar, and I'm trying to keep it as low key as possible while still being safe, so A was not an option.

Just ordered my tube for my cage. Cage updates are giving me the itch to get mine going.

Hey Tom,
Unfortunately not... a little lag at the upholstery shop, and a few end of month (april) projects at JL shops delayed us a few days. Both headliners will be ready for pickup tomorrow.
Remaining to wrap up is:
*Install headliners
*Plate A and B pillar
*Cross Bar behind front seats
*Frame mounts
*Reinstall Dash
Seperate of the cage work, I have a leak in my A/C and a bad pinion bearing, so going to get that all done as well..... looks like 3-5 day delay, so thinking next week some time.
I had planned on working on it this weekend, but I understand things can come up. Honestly I am not too bummed about it, JLagain has been vewry good about keeping me in the loop on what is going on, and they continue to make sure everything looks top notch, so an extra week isnt the end of the world! It will be ready for the B500!!

Tony, looking awesome! Question - how/where are you tying in the back the legs to the frame?

Thanks!! The back legs are plated body, and then there will be a bar that is lying flat on the ground, that ties into the two most rear body mounts.....
Here is a picture of how we did it on my brothers:

Re: Tonys 93 bronco
Thanks, that's one my two options - the other is to have the legs extend through the bed and the square body cross-member, and then tie into the rear bumper system. Definitely much more work than your way, and I don't think that method's results are any better.tcm glx wrote:Thanks!! It looks like it does in your picture, but do the body mount bolts go through the tube that ties the legs together?
