I'm sure someone will argue why it's bad but has worked for me.

Re: 94 Raptor killer
If he's going to drill and relocate the spring locating pin he will need a cobalt drill or harder. Spring steel is tough stuff. Carbide would be best but cannot be done with a hand drill. The drill will chatter chip and break, carbide is harder than a whores heart but brittle to shock. Cobalt is the most cost effective drill that will accomplish the goal.

I think he's meaning he drilled the actual perches welded to the axle.

Screw drilling leaves-- just use a carbide cutter on a die grinder if you ever need to open up a leaf spring hole. Drilling them is possible but only with a DP and a colbalt bit-- it's a nightmare though.

Maybe I should have looked at it before I asked haha. Van line worked great. I'll tell you have the core support pop out of the way makes working on the engine so much easier.

How close does your rear axle come to touching your fuel tank through articulation?cs_drums wrote:I pushed the rear back 1.5" so I had to get a longer drive shaft but that is it. It's basically the 18" most guys are getting plus 3" of up from the notch.
