Good deal here on knuckles ready for swing steering.

Word of caution, those are off of a 1990, and have a six bolt pattern, your 96 is five bolt. You'd have to have the spindles, hub/rotors, etc for the 1990...
I saw those yesterday and got really excited, for a moment! I have a 95.

I made the first plate and tacked a stub to it. The front will land on the hump with 4 bolts. No bends as I like the look of the welded tubes vs bent. Also I save room. ImageImage

Got the front mount for the passengers side cut out and holes drilled. Just need a piece of tube and 4 holes in the frame and I can tack together the passengers side ImageImage

Thank you. I try to get to it when I can. The tube has been sitting for 7 months.

Thank you Andy! Looks like I'll have room for bumps up front so mounts will be made. I have to replace the steering so I'm figuring on a swinger setup. Got alot to go but it's taking shape.

Four revisions and more time than I'm wanting to admit and I have beam shock mounts. I should have the tabs from ruff stuff for the engine cage on Friday then the lower shock mounts to cut out of 1/4" plate. I maybe able to cycle the suspension this weekend and see how much I screwed up the shock position.Image

My ruff stuff tabs showed up today and I cut out the lower shock mounts, tacked them on the beam fitted tubes and cycled suspension. I'm leaving some room in case I end up going with glass for more bump travel. I think my shock shafts either have a short rod or a spacer. I'll have to take them apart to find out. ImageImageImage

Thank you Steve. I'm capping the ends with 3/16" tear drop plates so the ends are closed and more weld area. It makes me feel a bit better.
