For what it's worth...i'm sold on the bfg at's. I ran a set with about 30% tread left on this last Baja trip, and the did great!

x2 on the All Terrain!!

BTW, just got my issue of Bronco Driver, and to my surprise, a feature on Kens rig!! nice job!

Yeah, most of the pics were taken by my girl Kristen, and her poor sister is upset to no end(her sister fancies herself a photographer)

here is a spread she took of me playing in the mud in 2wd. I'm leaning towards the BFG A/T right now, but may have a set of goodyear yellow compounds for a steal.

cool pic! check out the yokohama AT.. I have them on my ranger and LOVE them. I've always run bfg in the past but im going to run the yoko's on my bronco next, ultra quiet and great off road . and cheaper.

I am a die hard BFG Guy (and Bilstein). While I have run some yokohama super diggers back in the day......the BFG AT would be my choice based on your description of use.

Don't know if you've looked but I picked up a set of 315 / 75 r16 falken wild peak at and ran them this last weekend in baja without one issue. They do awesome in the dirt if you cant get your hands on the bfg a/ts.

Hey Randy, how do they do in the sand? I know first hand the BFG AT's handle sand great. The Baja's dig horribly but I still like them but if I did alot of sand dune running, I would sell them and buy AT's in a heart beat.

When we hit the washes I didn't even notice the difference. Theres a review that some jeeps did with them and loved them in the sand. The small amount of washes we hit, I had complete control and no digging even when the truck acted up. I had 35 lbs in the front and 40 lbs in the rear. Never changed it.

Ordered some Generels, they were a bit less than BFGs and I have heard a lot of good things about them. Should be here in a week or two.

Now for the question, red label in or out?

They were super soft compound, Since they were the Race tires in a 35x12.5r17 and Loud as all hell on the road! the tire and wheel combo weighed in at about 123lb per wheel/tire! very, very heavy! and you could definitely feel it as you drove.. i hear the DOT street version's are really good but i'm going to start running BFG's since that's who the Team is Sponsored by now. I can still get General's.. so my Opinion might change if i get the chance to run DOT 35's!
dont PM me.. I don't get them on Taptalk

If you run Reds out ill will unfriend you, Ken... not really but come on dude thats like whites out on BFG's. The 35's on DOT compound ive heard good things about and have ridden in an F250 with them over the weekend and i didnt hear anything uncommon noise wise with a big AT tire. My next tire will be Grabbers aswell.

I actually like the Red's out!! I would NEVER run RWL out on BFG's (or any tire for that matter) but I like the Red's out. :(

no worries, not sure red side out would look anything other than really shitty with my olive drab paint scheme Ryan.

yeah I have a nice set of BFG KM2's on all 5 rims now, still have some of the mold nipples on them, but my rig is sitting all derelict like in AZ. Can't wait till it warms up and I can take some time off my new job to go get the bastard. Maybe make a couple wheeling stops on the way to NC with it if I have the time, and don't have to tow too much junk that the movers wouldn't take with it.

As much as I want the bronco out in NC, not looking forward to driving 2200 miles or so with it in a cross country trip, its a bit noisy and slow on the open road.
