Re: Bray's 96 Sleeper
New Amp to power new Alpines all around
Re: Bray's 96 Sleeper
GPS is functional!
Re: Bray's 96 Sleeper
Spot the antenna
Re: Bray's 96 Sleeper
had a chance to snap a quick shot of the console at night- our resident LED jedi Taylor (Nubreed71) came through with some LED retrofits for the Autometer gauges
Picked up a new Alpine deck with adaptable illumination, should be able to dial it in green with everything else once I get the time

Re: Bray's 96 Sleeper
Once Darren was finished, I jumped in to quiet down the truck as much as possible.
I had applied a heat and noise reducer before bedlining the pan- but it was still too loud.
Started with a dynamat knockoff

Re: Bray's 96 Sleeper
Even got into the doors, pulled the speakers out and got full coverage.
Feels nice and solid when closing the door now
Also sorted out a loose armrest. Factory rivet had backed off just a bit, so I snugged up a bolt right next to it- tight as a drum

Bray's 96 Sleeper
One of my favorite Broncos just keeps getting nicer!
Re: Bray's 96 Sleeper
As a result of spending entirely too much time reading up on noise reduction in vehicles, I didn't stop at dynamat.
Next up was mass loaded vinyl- which is specifically for noise reduction. Nice to work with- and made a huge difference.
It's heavy as all hell, but she's already a big girl, and we don't want to give her a complex about it right....
replaced factory door plastic with MLV

Re: Bray's 96 Sleeper
Ran out of washers right when I got to the wheel wells....
When complete, I have a couple rolls of black duct tape that I will hit all seams and doors panels with.
Then, she is off to interior for new marine grade carpet, and vinyl on the sunvisors and center jump seat lid to match the headliner.
Look forward to bolting those seats in for the last time (hopefully)
